Employees Bali
Foundation Sjaki-Tari-Us can’t and won’t perform everything with it’s own resources. We try to use Balinese expertise as much as possible. Furthermore we want to create employment where possible for the Balinese population.
In time it’s the meaning to transfer the tasks of the volunteers to the Balinese employees. We will slowly reduce the number of volunteers and their direct tasks with the children. At the moment we employ twelve Balinese. They earn a salary conform the Balinese law.

| Teacher Tedi: “This is a whole new challenge. I would like to know more about mentally disabled children. To gain new knowledge and to learn to work with foreign people”. | Teacher Iluh: “I love children. In the beginning, it was hard to work with mentally disabled children, but I learn more step by step. It’s also a new challenge to work with foreign people and to get to know their culture. I’m realy glad with what I learn of the volunteers”. | Teacher Nurul | Teacher Komang |
The teachers are all hired on their experience and education as a teacher. The education they followed is different; the educations run from teacher English to counsellor at a preschool.
